Port Townsend Garden Looks Like a Good Resting Place
I was at a friends house years ago when I spotted this little Sparrow on their sprinkler. I grabbed my first camera, a little Kodak EasyShare, and got this image. Better yet would have been the next shot which was when the sprinkler went off but I missed it. Life is definitely a timing issue...

Beautiful Vintage Umbrellas-Bella Umbrella
With all this rain I have been thinking how rare it is to see some one actually caring an umbrella around town. It reminded me of a Seattle umbrella business Bella Umbrella. I visited their booth in January at the Seattle Bridal Show. They carry hundreds of lovely vintage umbrellas, something a bride might either purchase or rent from them for her wedding day. The assortment of colors is amazing and the vintage Victorian laced ones are just gorgeous. I would love to photograph a bride holding one and capture the lace patterns on her face as sun filters down on her.

Sampson Doesn't Need a Haircut-He Needs a Home. Adopt Him Today.
Sampson was adopted.
Sampson is a really cute little Miniature Pinscher Mix who is about 2 years old. He is available at the Humane Society of Jefferson County. You can visit him Tuesday-Sunday from 12-5 or call the shelter at 385-3292 for more details. Please consider sharing his photo. It just takes one person to see him & want to adopt him.

Blogging for Bliss-Crafting Your Own Online Journal
I ran across this great book on Blogging while at the Jefferson County Library this weekend. Tara Frey's book, Blogging for Bliss, is still available in print from Amazon. It has some great ideas for actually setting up your own Blog and the basics for getting started but my favorite part was learning about all the fun Blogs she suggested. Paris Couture Antiques Blog was my favorite since it gave tons of additional links about France. So if you ever have been to or dreamed of visiting France you'll like the link I have added.
