Break Down in Port Townsend

Images from a rainy day in Port Townsend near the boat yard in the Port. I love that the bike is locked to the fence so it is meant to be a decorative element in front of the little cafe.

Hair Styles by Charlotte Rutter of Studio Rue in Port Townsend

Last week I had the pleasure of working with local model, Willow Jenavieve Hubbard and Hair Stylist Charlotte Rutter. Charlotte is opening her new salon, Studio Rue in Uptown Port Townsend on April 1st. This is one of the unique hair styles Charlotte created for this session and Willow did her own makeup.
This was my first time to photograph Willow and the session was held in my Port Townsend portrait studio. It was wonderful working with both Charlotte and Willow's creative energy. Thanks to Charlotte, this session was especially fun for me as these images are more fashion inspired than the more traditional images I have photographed in the past.

Animals Availble for Adoption here in Port Townsend

The Humane Society of Jefferson County, here in Port Townsend has some wonderful cat and dogs looking for homes this week.  Since I photographed, and create this poster on Sunday, Mickey has been adopted.
I'm so in love with Sadie. This sweet four year old has been at the shelter for a bit. She so deserves a new home and a person to snuggle with and a lap to sit on and purr. She has quite the purr and is very affectionate and would be make a wonderful companion, I'm just afraid my two dogs would not agree.
Please consider adopting anyone of these deserving animals by visiting our local shelter here in Port Townsend, Washington. For more information on any of these animals you can call the shelter at (360) 385-3292.
